"Many families in the area are beginning to look forward to this workshop every year," said Helen Miller, Autism coordinator for USD 383. "We are grateful for the work of the Pilot Club of Manhattan in sponsoring this workshop."

The Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce covered the workshop in their newsletter. You can read a copy here:

We couldn't host each workshop out with the generous contributions of area sponsors. See who helped us out in 2010.

The 5th Annual Autism Spectrum Disorders Workshop was offered for families, friends, and educators of autistic children and featured informative speakers as well as time to network with other families. The keynote speaker was Dr. Stephen Shore. Autistic himself, he is a professor at Adelphi University where he works with autistic children and their families, lectures around the world and has written several books on the subject. Breakout sessions focused on Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for use in the home and classroom.
