The Accessing Autism Services Bill (Senate Bill 12), “Kate's Law”, was filed with the Kansas legislature on January 12, 2009. Passage of Kate’s Law would require that private health insurance companies cover the diagnostic evaluation and treatment for autism spectrum disorders for fully funded policyholders in Kansas.
